flow rate on this one is listed in liters, anybody know what that works out to in gallons per minute?

Comes out to roughly 26.3 gallons per minute. The pump is rated at 99.67 liters per minute, so if you're working in GPM that's your number to plan around.

got a machine that’s pretty loud with the current pump. is this V20F setup meant to run smoother or is it about the same
