This Eaton Char-Lynn motor is listed as being suitable for log skidders, among other applications like harvesters, sprayers, and fan drives.
Question by: Pete M on Oct 15, 2025, 8:33 AM
Got a scissor lift that needs a new motor and somebody told me to look at axial piston units for better torque. This one putting out around 226 newton metres, is that pretty solid for that kind of equipment?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 16, 2025, 10:16 AM
For scissor lift applications, 226.27 Nm of torque is genuinely capable output. Axial piston motors in this class handle the load demands that come with lifting equipment, and this unit is specifically listed for scissor lift use. Cast iron construction helps it hold up under the stress of repeated lift cycles rather than wearing down quickly like lighter-duty alternatives would.
