Brass Male Bspt Nipple

Description & Features

Machined from brass, this straight nipple provides a male BSPT connection on both ends, making it well suited for joining two female-threaded ports in hydraulic and fluid power assemblies. Both sides carry an R 1/2 - 14 thread designation at 1/2" size, with an overall length of 33.5 mm and a wrench width of 22 mm across the hex.

The Brass Male Bspt Nipple is an Adaptall component, compatible with the Adaptall modular fitting system. Brass construction offers reliable resistance to corrosion in a range of fluid media commonly used in hydraulic circuits. The straight, male-to-male configuration suits back-to-back port connections where a compact inline fitting is required.

trying to hook two female ports together, is this the straight male to male piece with bsp threads on both ends?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 26, 2025, 1:28 PM
For joining two female-threaded ports inline, it uses male BSPT threads on both ends with an R 1/2 - 14 callout on each side.

Will this fitting work okay for hooking up a pressure gauge to my hydraulic system?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 5, 2025, 6:36 AM
This brass nipple fitting is indeed suitable for connecting a pressure gauge, provided your system uses 1/2" BSPT female threads. The brass construction offers good corrosion resistance with common hydraulic fluids.
