Brass Countersunk Bspt Plug

Description & Features

Manufactured from brass, this countersunk plug features a 1/8" male BSPT (R 1/8 - 28) thread, making it a compact and reliable choice for sealing ports in hydraulic manifolds, valve bodies, and fluid power components. The countersunk head profile allows the plug to sit flush or recessed within a port, which is useful in assemblies where clearance is limited or a clean surface finish is required.

The Brass Countersunk BSPT Plug is an Adaptall product, with a body length of 7.7 mm and a wrench width of 10 mm. Brass construction provides good corrosion resistance and is well suited to a range of hydraulic fluids and pneumatic media commonly encountered in industrial service.

got a manifold port that needs a flush plug, is this the kind with the countersunk head that sits down in there
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 17, 2025, 9:51 AM
With the countersunk head, it’s meant to sit flush or slightly recessed in the port, which helps when you need clearance or want a clean surface on a manifold, valve body, or similar fluid power part.
Question by: Glen W on Jan 29, 2026, 9:15 PM
Got a manifold block with some real tight clearance around the port openings. Will a countersunk plug sit flush enough to not cause fitment problems with adjacent components?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 31, 2026, 3:37 PM
Flush seating is exactly what the countersunk head profile is built for. The head sits recessed or flush within the port rather than protruding above the surface, so in assemblies where clearance is tight or a clean face is needed, it won't create interference with neighboring hardware. The body length on this one is 7.7 mm, and the wrench width is 10 mm, so you can plan your clearance around those figures.

Is this plug made of real brass, or is it just plated?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 6, 2025, 8:54 AM
The body is manufactured entirely from brass. This provides good corrosion resistance for hydraulic fluids and pneumatic media.
