Question by: Roger B on Jun 17, 2025, 10:19 AM
What kind of applications does this valve work for? Seems like a good fit for what I'm doing.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 6:28 AM
This directional control valve is suitable for applications like die casting, machine tools, marine/offshore equipment, presses, primary metal processing, paper mills, test equipment, simulation setups, and turbine control systems, including wind, steam, and water turbines.
Question by: Steve B on Jun 29, 2025, 8:13 PM
flow rate on these is listed at 700 liters per minute, that right for the DG5V-8 series, or is that more of a peak number?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 1, 2025, 7:51 AM
For the DG5V-8 series, 700 litres per minute is the rated flow capacity for this valve. That puts it well into heavy industrial territory, which lines up with the press, primary metal, and turbine control applications these are built around. If your system runs at or below that threshold, you're in the right range for this model.
