Question by: Larry C on Sep 6, 2025, 12:58 PM
Reckon this valve'll hold up okay in a die casting setup? We run 'em pretty hard.
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 8, 2025, 6:36 AM
These Vickers directional control valves are commonly used in die casting and foundry applications, so it should be suitable for that type of work.
Question by: Merle K on Dec 3, 2025, 4:05 PM
got a hydraulic setup that needs about 80 lpm, is this valve in the right ballpark for flow
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 5, 2025, 6:24 AM
For flow expectations, this DG4V-3 65 design directional control valve is listed at 80 litres per minute, so it matches an 80 L/min requirement on paper.
Question by: Sheila B on Oct 20, 2025, 1:11 PM
flow rate on this valve -- is 80 liters per minute the max it'll handle, or is that just a rated operating point?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 22, 2025, 11:47 AM
Eighty liters per minute is the rated flow capacity for this valve. Running right at the ceiling of a rated spec for extended periods tends to put more wear on the internals than operating at a comfortable margin below it, so if your system is regularly pushing close to that number, sizing up is worth thinking through before you commit.
