Rated to SAE 100R14B, the Danfoss / Eaton Hose Teflon Convoluted is a -32 dash size, convoluted PTFE hose from the Eaton Aeroquip Everflex line, built for demanding industrial environments. The tube is constructed from Teflon with a single-ply stainless steel braid reinforcement and stainless steel cover, delivering premium abrasion resistance alongside a minimum bend radius of 6 inches and a working temperature range starting at -65°F.

Conductive construction makes this hose suitable for applications where flow-induced electrostatic charges are a concern. Compatible fittings include Conv-O-Crimp hose ends. The hose serves a broad range of industries and processes, including chemical processing, pharmaceutical, food processing, steam, hydraulics, automotive, steel mills, tire manufacturing, reverse osmosis, and bus and truck applications, and is rated to withstand vibration, impulsing, and exposure to degrading media across a wide temperature range.

Does this hose work for chemical processing lines, or is it mainly meant for hydraulic systems?

PTFE construction handles an unusually wide range of fluids, which is why this hose shows up across chemical processing, pharmaceutical lines, food processing, steam, and hydraulic applications alike. The stainless steel braid reinforcement and Teflon tube material hold up where rubber hoses would degrade. So no, it is not limited to hydraulics at all.

What kind of temps can this hose handle? I'm thinkin' of usin' it in a pretty hot environment.
