Question by: Steve F on Feb 28, 2026, 8:49 PM
What kind of machinery is this valve typically used on? Seems like I saw it on some die casting equipment before.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 2, 2026, 6:01 AM
Common applications for the DG4V-3 2B M U H7 60 include die casting and foundry equipment, machine tools, marine/offshore systems, presses, primary metal processing, paper mills, test equipment, and even turbine control systems for wind, steam, and water power.
Question by: Kurt R on Apr 21, 2025, 3:04 PM
flow rate on this unit is listed at 80 LPM -- is that enough for press and die casting work or do them applications usually need more?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 22, 2025, 3:16 PM
For press and die casting applications, 80 litres per minute is right in the working range this valve was built for. Both of those uses are listed as supported applications, so the flow capacity lines up with what those environments typically demand. If your system is running within that ceiling, you're in good shape.
