Question by: Dean M on Feb 14, 2026, 12:05 PM
trying to swap a fitting on a small hydraulic line, is this nipple male bsp on both ends or what
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 15, 2026, 9:48 PM
Both ends are BSPP male threads. One side is G 1/4 - 19 male and the other side is G 1/8 - 28 male, so it is a straight male-to-male BSPP nipple.
Question by: Rod W on Jan 25, 2026, 9:34 AM
So this has a 1/4" BSPP on one side and a 1/8" BSPP on the other? Just want to make sure I'm reading it right.
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 26, 2026, 11:22 AM
That's correct. This nipple features a G 1/4 - 19 male connection on one end and a G 1/8 - 28 male connection on the other.
Question by: Lyle J on Dec 18, 2025, 12:57 PM
What's the size difference between the two ends on this nipple? Trying to figure out if it steps down or if both sides are the same.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 19, 2025, 2:40 PM
One end is a G 1/4 - 19 male BSPP connection and the other is a G 1/8 - 28 male BSPP connection, so yes, it does step down. You're going from a quarter-inch side to an eighth-inch side. Both ends are male, and the overall length runs 29.3mm with a 19mm width across the fitting. Good reducer nipple when you need to drop a BSPP line down a size without a lot of extra hardware in the way.
