trying to tie a 1/2" BSPP port into a 1/4" BSPP hose end. is this nipple the right deal for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 20, 2025, 3:03 PM
For stepping between two BSPP male sizes, it matches that setup. One end is G 1/2 - 14 male BSPP and the other end is G 1/4 - 19 male BSPP, in a straight steel nipple.

got a hydraulic line running G 1/2 on one end and G 1/4 on the other -- will this nipple bridge that gap or do I need something else in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 20, 2025, 6:03 AM
That's exactly what this fitting handles. One side is threaded G 1/2 - 14 BSPP and the other is G 1/4 - 19 BSPP, so it steps down between those two sizes in a single piece. Both threads are male, so you'd be connecting it between two female BSPP ports. No additional adapter needed as long as your ports match those thread specs.

Reckon this'll fit my setup? Got BSPP fittings, but one's 1/2" and the other's 1/4".
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 5, 2025, 8:45 AM
This BSPP nipple is designed to connect two different sized BSPP fittings, specifically a 1/2" BSPP to a 1/4" BSPP. So, it should do the trick.
