Got a fitting on an old pump housing that's a 1-inch BSPP port and need to step it down to 3/8 for a smaller line. This the right piece for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 11, 2025, 6:43 AM
That's what this nipple is built for. One end is G 1 - 11, which is your 1-inch BSPP male thread, and the other end is G 3/8 - 19, the 3/8-inch BSPP male thread. Both sides are male, so you'd be threading each end into female BSPP ports on your pump housing and downstream fitting. Steel construction keeps it solid under the kind of load a pump connection puts on it.

What size threads does this have?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 16, 2025, 4:56 PM
This BSPP nipple features a G 1 - 11 thread on one side and a G 3/8 - 19 thread on the other. It's designed to adapt between these different sizes.

got a straight bsp nipple that’s 1 inch male on one end and 3/8 male on the other, is this the right one?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 31, 2025, 9:33 PM
It matches a straight BSPP male to male nipple with G 1 - 11 threads on one side and G 3/8 - 19 on the other, so it fits the 1 inch BSPP to 3/8 inch BSPP step-down you described.
