Bspp Nipple

Description & Features

Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this BSPP Nipple provides a male-to-male threaded connection between two different BSPP port sizes. Side one carries a G 2 - 11 thread at 2 inches, while side two steps down to a G 1-1/2 - 11 thread at 1-1/2 inches, making it suited for reducing connections in hydraulic circuits where differing port sizes must be joined inline.

Supplied by Adaptall, the fitting measures 71mm in length with a 70mm across-flats width. The steel construction supports use in demanding industrial hydraulic environments where a reliable, leak-free threaded connection is required between BSPP-ported components.

got two ports that dont match up, 2 inch bspp on one side and 1-1/2 on the other. is this the piece that steps it down?

For tying those two BSPP sizes together inline, it fits that job. One end is a male G 2 - 11 thread (2 inch) and the other end is a male G 1-1/2 - 11 thread (1-1/2 inch), so it acts as a straight reducing nipple between the two port sizes.
