Male Bspp X Male Metric

Description & Features

A straight steel adapter connecting a G 1/4-19 male BSPP thread on one end to an M16 x 1.5 male metric thread on the other, the Male BSPP X Male Metric fitting from Adaptall is suited for joining hydraulic lines where these two thread standards meet. The straight profile keeps inline connections compact, while the 22mm CH width accommodates standard tooling for installation and removal.

Manufactured from steel, this adapter measures 31mm in length and is designed for use in hydraulic systems where a reliable, leak-resistant connection between BSPP and metric threaded ports is required. The 1/4" BSPP side conforms to the G 1/4-19 thread form, and the 16mm metric side uses the M16 x 1.5 thread pitch, a common combination in European and mixed-standard hydraulic circuits.

What's the wrench size needed for tightening this fitting?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 19, 2025, 8:53 PM
The 22mm CH width is designed to fit standard tooling for both installing and removing this adapter.

Got a hydraulic line with an M16 x 1.5 port on one end and a G 1/4-19 BSPP port on the other, will this adapter bridge those two without needing anything else in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 9, 2025, 9:50 PM
That's what this fitting does. One end is G 1/4-19 BSPP male and the other is M16 x 1.5 metric male, so it connects those two thread standards directly with no additional fittings required. Both ends are male, so you'd be threading each side into female ports on your lines or components. The straight profile keeps everything in-line, which helps in tight spaces.

trying to hook a G 1/4-19 port to an M16 x 1.5 port. is this the right adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 5, 2026, 6:13 AM
For that mix of threads, yes. One end is a male BSPP G 1/4-19 and the other end is a male metric M16 x 1.5, so it’s meant to join those two standards in the same hydraulic circuit.
