Got a metric port on my hydraulic block that's M16 x 1.5 and need to tie into a BSPP line, this the right adapter for that?

That's exactly the crossover this fitting handles. One end is 3/8" Male BSPP and the other is M16 x 1.5 Male Metric, so it bridges those two thread standards in a single straight adapter.
