A straight steel adapter connecting a 1/4" Male JIC (7/16-20 UNF) fitting on one end to a 1/2" Male BSPP (G 1/2-14) fitting on the other, this Male JIC X Male BSPP from Adaptall is designed for use in hydraulic systems where JIC and BSPP threaded connections need to be joined inline. Will this here fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system running about 2500 PSI?

That's what it's built for. One end is 1/4" Male JIC on a 7/16-20 UNF thread, the other is 1/2" Male BSPP on a G 1/2-14 thread. trying to hook a 1/4 jic hose end to a port thats g 1/2-14, is this the right adapter?
