Will this adapter hold up okay in a hydraulic system that runs pretty hot?

got a hose end that’s 1-1/4 JIC, and the other side of my setup is 1" BSPP. is this the right adapter to tie those together?

Built for exactly that mix, it connects a 1-1/4 inch Male JIC with 1-5/8-12 UN threads to a 1 inch Male BSPP with G 1-11 threads, in a straight steel adapter.

Got a piece of imported equipment with a 1" BSPP port and the hydraulic line coming off it is JIC, does this adapter go between those two directly, or do I need something else in the middle?

That's exactly what this one handles. One end is 1-1/4" Male JIC on a 1-5/8-12 UN thread, and the other end is 1" Male BSPP on a G 1-11 thread. Both sides are male, so you'd be threading each end into its respective female port on your line and your equipment. No additional fittings needed to bridge those two standards, it goes straight from one to the other in a single piece.
