This DANFOSS / EATON ADAPTER is a SAE ORB male straight adapter, ideal for diverse applications including marine/military, chemical processing, pulp and paper industries, food and beverage processing, and off-shore drilling.

Manufactured from carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating, this straight adapter provides superior corrosion resistance and design flexibility. It meets SAE 090109A standards and is designed for higher operating pressures above SAE standards. It features a male SAE ORB end with a 0.875" size and a female end.

What's this adapter made of, and will it hold up if it's exposed to saltwater a lot?

This adapter is manufactured from carbon steel, and it includes Dura-Kote plating. That plating is there to give it superior corrosion resistance, which makes it suitable for marine environments, among other applications.
