got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC male, will this adapter match up to it?

On side 1, the adapter is a male JIC with 9/16 - 18 UNF threads, which corresponds to a 3/8 inch JIC size callout. It is meant for connecting a JIC side using that thread and size.

Got a piece of equipment running BSPP ports and my hydraulic lines are all JIC fittings, this the kind of adapter that bridges those two?

That's what this one's built for. One end is a male 9/16-18 UNF JIC fitting and the other is a male G 1/8-28 BSPP, so it connects JIC hydraulic lines directly to BSPP-ported equipment. Both ends are male, so make sure your mating connections are female on both sides before ordering. The elastomeric seal on the BSPP side handles leak prevention without needing additional thread sealant on that end.
