Designed for straight-through hydraulic connections between JIC and BSPP threaded ports, this steel adapter from Adaptall bridges a 1-1/2" male JIC fitting (1-7/8–12 UN thread) on one end to a 1-1/2" male BSPP port (G 1-1/2–11 thread) on the other. The elastomeric seal on the BSPP side provides a reliable, leak-resistant connection without the need for additional thread sealants or tape.

Got a BSPP port on a piece of imported equipment and need to tie it into a JIC line, this a straight-through adapter or does it have some kind of angle to it?

Straight through, no angle. Both ends run on the same axis, so if your JIC line and the BSPP port are already lined up, this drops right in without any routing gymnastics. The JIC side is 1-7/8-12 UN thread at 1-1/2 inch, and the BSPP side runs G 1-1/2-11. Steel construction, 66.9mm long with a 54.5mm body width, so it's on the compact side for what it does.
