Male Sae O-Ring Boss-Male Bspp

Description & Features

Designed for straight-line connections between SAE and BSP hydraulic circuits, this steel adapter features a 3/8" Male SAE O-Ring Boss thread (9/16-18 UNF) on one end and a 1/4" Male BSPP (G 1/4-19) thread on the other. The Male SAE O-Ring Boss-Male BSPP configuration makes it well suited for joining equipment with differing thread standards without the need for intermediate fittings.

Manufactured by Adaptall, the adapter is constructed from steel in a straight profile, with an overall length of 27.9mm and a 19mm wrench width. The ORB side provides a reliable seal via O-ring face contact, while the BSPP thread engages parallel BSP ports commonly found on European and international hydraulic components.

Question by: Terry P on Jul 25, 2025, 1:43 PM
trying to hook an SAE ORB port to a BSPP port, is this the straight adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 8:05 AM
For tying two different thread standards together, this one is a straight steel adapter with a 3/8 inch male SAE O-Ring Boss end (9/16-18 UNF) and a 1/4 inch male BSPP end (G 1/4-19). It is meant for straight-line connections between SAE and BSP hydraulic circuits.
