trying to hook a british parallel port to a npt line, is this the right nipple for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 9, 2025, 6:03 AM
For switching between thread standards, this part is a straight steel nipple with a G 5/8 - 14 BSPP male on one end and a 1/2 - 14 NPTF male on the other, so it’s meant to bridge those two connections.

Got a piece of equipment running BSPP fittings and the new line I'm hooking into is NPT, this the right adapter to bridge that gap?
Answer by: Customer Support on Nov 5, 2025, 7:19 PM
That's what this nipple is built for. One end is G 5/8-14 BSPP male and the other is 1/2-14 NPTF male, so it gives you a straight, direct connection between those two thread standards without any additional adapters in between. It's a solid steel piece from Adaptall, so it holds up well in working hydraulic assemblies where you need that transition to be dependable.
