Bspt X Npt Nipple

Description & Features

Constructed from durable steel, the Bspt X NPT Nipple is designed to ensure reliable connections in industrial hydraulic systems. This straight adapter features male BSPT and NPT threads, allowing it to connect parts with different thread standards seamlessly. With an Adaptall Ch Width of 11mm and a length of 27.5mm, this nipple is engineered for precision and compatibility.

On one end, the adapter has a BSPT (British Standard Pipe Taper) male thread with a 1/8" size and R 1/8 - 28 callout. The opposite end features an NPTF (National Pipe Taper Fuel) male thread, sized at 1/8" with a 1/8 - 27 callout. This dual-threading capability makes it versatile for various industrial applications that require the bridging of different thread types.

Got a piece of equipment running BSPT fittings on one port and NPT on another, this little nipple bridge the gap between them?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 24, 2025, 10:02 AM
Steel construction, male threads on both ends, one side R 1/8-28 BSPT and the other 1/8-27 NPTF. That's exactly the kind of mixed-thread situation this fitting is built for. Both sides are 1/8" size, so as long as your ports match up to those specs, you've got yourself a solid mechanical connection between the two thread standards.

got a port that’s R 1/8 - 28 on one side and 1/8 - 27 NPTF on the other. is this the right little nipple to tie those together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 7, 2026, 10:41 AM
Built for exactly that kind of mix, it is a straight steel nipple with a male BSPT R 1/8 - 28 thread on one end and a male 1/8 - 27 NPTF thread on the other, both in 1/8 inch size.
