Constructed from steel in a straight configuration, this male-to-male nipple connects a 2-1/2" BSPT thread (R 2-1/2 - 11) on one end to a 2-1/2" NPTF thread (2-1/2 - 8 NPTF) on the other, making it a practical solution for joining BSPT and NPT-threaded ports in hydraulic and industrial fluid systems. The straight body measures 95.2mm in length with a 83mm across-flats width, offering a compact and direct thread conversion without additional fittings.
Manufactured by Adaptall, the BSPT X NPT Nipple is suited for applications where British Standard Pipe Taper and National Pipe Thread connections must interface, commonly encountered when integrating equipment built to different regional threading standards. Steel construction provides the durability expected in demanding hydraulic environments.

Got some older British-made equipment I'm trying to tie into an NPT-threaded manifold. This nipple gonna bridge that gap, or do I need something else in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 20, 2025, 7:25 PM
Yeah, that's exactly what this fitting is built for. One end carries a 2-1/2" BSPT thread (R 2-1/2 - 11) and the other end is a 2-1/2" NPTF thread (2-1/2 - 8 NPTF), both male. So if your British equipment has a female BSPT port and your manifold has a female NPT port, this nipple connects them directly with no extra adapters needed.

got a pump port that’s BSPT R 2-1/2-11 and the line side is 2-1/2-8 NPTF. is this the right nipple to marry those together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 26, 2025, 7:24 PM
Built for thread conversion, it connects a 2-1/2 inch BSPT male end (R 2-1/2 - 11) to a 2-1/2 inch NPTF male end (2-1/2 - 8 NPTF) in a straight, male-to-male nipple.
