This steel straight fitting features a male JIC (Joint Industry Council) connection on one side and a female BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) fixed connection on the other.

The Adaptall Male JIC X Fem. BSPP Fixed fitting has a Side 1 callout of 9/16 - 18 UNF and a Side 2 callout of G 3/8 - 19. Side 1 (JIC) and Side 2 (BSPP) are both 3/8" size. The Adaptall fitting has a wrench width of 22mm and an overall length of 36.2mm.

So, this here has a JIC on one side and then that BSPP thing on the other? Just want to make sure I'm readin' it right.

That's right, one side's a male JIC, and the other is a female BSPP fixed connection. Both sides are 3/8" size.

got a hose end that’s 9/16-18 JIC male, will this adapter match up on that side?

On the JIC side, it’s a male 9/16-18 UNF connection in a 3/8 inch size, so it matches a 9/16-18 JIC female swivel that’s sized for 3/8.
