Description & Features

Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this Adaptall adapter connects a 1/4" Male JIC (7/16-20 UNF) fitting on one end to a 3/8" Male BSPT (R 3/8-19) fitting on the other. It is designed for use in hydraulic systems where JIC and BSPT threaded connections must be joined without intermediate components.

The Male JIC X Male BSPT measures 39.2mm in length with a 17.5mm CH width, making it a compact solution for tight installations. Adaptall's interchangeable adapter system makes this component well-suited for field assembly and maintenance applications across a range of hydraulic equipment.

got a hose end that’s 7/16-20 UNF JIC male, and the port i need is R 3/8-19 BSPT. is this the right little adapter?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 21, 2025, 6:29 AM
For joining those two thread types directly, it’s a straight steel adapter with a 1/4 inch Male JIC on one side (7/16-20 UNF) and a 3/8 inch Male BSPT on the other (R 3/8-19).

Got a machine that's got a JIC port on the hydraulic line and a BSPT fitting on the component side, does this adapter go straight between the two without needing anything else in the middle?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 19, 2025, 1:32 PM
That's what it's built for. One end is a 1/4" Male JIC running a 7/16-20 UNF thread, and the other side is a 3/8" Male BSPT at R 3/8-19. No intermediate fittings, no extra hardware. It bridges those two thread standards directly in a single straight piece, which keeps things clean and cuts down on potential leak points.

Will this adapter hold up okay in a hydraulic system running around 2000 psi?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 7, 2026, 6:33 AM
This adapter is made from steel and intended for hydraulic systems, so it should be suitable for systems around 2000 psi.
