Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this Adaptall adapter connects a 1/2" JIC male fitting (3/4–16 UNF thread) on one end to a 1/4" BSPT male fitting (R 1/4–19 thread) on the other. The Male JIC x Male BSPT design makes it a practical solution for joining JIC and BSPT threaded connections within the same hydraulic circuit, accommodating the thread form differences between inch-series and British Standard taper threads.

got a hose end that’s 1/2 JIC male, and the port on the block is 1/4 BSPT. is this the right adapter to tie those together?
