Constructed from steel in a straight configuration, this adapter connects a 3/4" Male BSPP (G 3/4 - 14) port to a 1/2" Female JIC swivel end (3/4 - 16 UNF), allowing hydraulic lines with differing thread standards to be joined without additional conversion fittings. The Male BSPP X Female JIC Swivel is manufactured by Adaptall and suits applications where British Standard Parallel Pipe and JIC 37° flare connections must interface within a hydraulic circuit.

With an overall length of 51mm and wrench flats measuring 32mm and 22mm across the two ends, the fitting is sized for practical inline installation. The swivel feature on the female JIC end helps reduce stress during assembly by allowing the connection to be made without twisting the hydraulic line.

Got a machine running British pipe fittings on one end and JIC lines on the other. Will this adapter actually bridge them two thread types without needing extra pieces in between?

That's what this fitting handles. One end is a 3/4" Male BSPP threaded to the G 3/4-14 standard, and the other is a 1/2" Female JIC swivel cut to 3/4-16 UNF. Those two thread types connect directly through this single adapter, no extra couplings or conversion hardware needed. The straight configuration keeps the inline hydraulic connections clean and simple.

got a port that’s G 3/4-14 BSPP on the block, will this adapter screw in there and give me a 1/2" JIC swivel on the hose side?

For tying those two standards together, it’s a straight steel adapter with a 3/4 inch male BSPP end (G 3/4-14) and a 1/2 inch female JIC swivel end (3/4-16 UNF). That lets a BSPP port mate up to a JIC 37 degree flare connection without stacking extra conversion fittings.
