i’ve got a hose end that’s 1-7/8 - 12 UN JIC, will this adapter screw right into it and still let me swivel it?

got a G 1-1/2 - 11 BSPP male port on a hydraulic block and need to tie into a JIC female line, this fitting do that?

That's what this one's built for. The male side threads in at G 1-1/2 - 11 BSPP and the female side accepts a 1-7/8 - 12 UN JIC fitting, so it bridges those two thread standards in one piece.
