A straight steel adapter connecting a 3/8" Male JIC fitting on one end to a Female Metric Swivel (M22 x 1.5 Din Tube) on the other, this Male Jic-Female Metric Swivel is well suited for hydraulic circuits that require a transition between JIC and metric tube connections. The male side features a 9/16-18 UNF thread, while the female swivel end accommodates an L15 metric tube size with an M22 x 1.5 thread.

Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this Adaptall fitting measures 42mm in overall length, with wrench flats of 20mm on the JIC side and 27mm on the metric side. fitting's 42mm long overall, is that enough clearance to get a wrench on both ends without em crowding each other out?

Both wrench flat sizes are different enough that standard wrenches shouldn't fight each other during tightening. The JIC side takes a 20mm wrench and the metric swivel end takes a 27mm, so you've got some size separation there. At 42mm total length, it's a compact fitting, but that gap between the two flat sizes means you can usually seat each end without one tool blocking the other. Just make sure you've got enough room in the line routing before you commit to the install.
