Male Jic-Female Metric Swivel

Description & Features

Manufactured from steel in a straight configuration, this Male Jic-Female Metric Swivel provides a reliable transition between a 3/4–16 UNF (1/2" JIC) male fitting and an M20 x 1.5 female DIN tube metric swivel connection. The straight body measures 45mm in length, with wrench flats of 22mm and 27mm across the two connection sides, making installation and torquing straightforward in confined spaces.

Produced by Adaptall, this adapter suits hydraulic systems that require bridging JIC and metric DIN tube standards, a common requirement when connecting equipment or lines manufactured to different specifications. The swivel design on the female metric side allows for rotational positioning during assembly without requiring the mating line to twist.

Will this work to connect a JIC fitting to a metric tube?
Answer by: Customer Support on Oct 24, 2025, 6:02 PM
This Adaptall fitting will connect a 1/2" JIC male end to a M20 X 1.5 DIN tube female end. It's a straight fitting made of steel.

got a hydraulic line running 3/4-16 JIC on one end and need to tie into a metric port at M20 x 1.5 -- will this fitting bridge that gap straight through without needing extra adapters?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 8, 2026, 4:01 PM
That's what this one does. One end is a 3/4-16 UNF male JIC, the other is an M20 x 1.5 female metric swivel. Steel construction, straight body, and the swivel on the metric side lets you get the line seated without having to torque the whole assembly to align it. No intermediate pieces needed for that connection.
