This Adaptall fitting is designed to provide a reliable connection between a JIC (3/4 - 16 UNF) male end and a metric flat face (M18 X 1.5) female port. It's made of steel, so it should be durable enough for most hydraulic applications, provided it's properly torqued and maintained.

That matchup works. One end of this fitting is a male JIC with a 3/4-16 UNF thread, which seats into a standard female JIC 37-degree flare connection. The other end is a female metric flat face sized at M18 x 1.5. So if your block has that metric port and your hose or line terminates in a female JIC, this straight steel adapter bridges those two without any intermediate fittings.
