This straight steel adapter from Adaptall America connects a 1/2" male JIC fitting (3/4-16 UNF thread) on one end to a 22mm female metric flat face port (M22 x 1.5 thread) on the other, making it suitable for hydraulic systems that cross between JIC and China metric flat face standards. got a JIC fitting on my hydraulic line and need to tie into a metric flat face port on some equipment we picked up, this the right adapter for that?

That's exactly the crossover this part handles. One end is a 3/4-16 UNF male JIC, which is your standard 1/2" JIC fitting. The other end is a female M22 x 1.5 metric flat face port connection.
