Male Metric-Female Jic Swivel

Description & Features

Constructed from steel in a straight configuration, this adapter measures 37mm in length with 19mm wrench flats on both ends, making it straightforward to install and torque in confined spaces. The Male Metric-Female Jic Swivel connects an M14 x 1.5 male metric thread on one end to a 9/16-18 UNF female JIC swivel fitting on the other, accommodating a 3/8" JIC line size. The swivel design on the JIC side allows the mating hose or tube assembly to be positioned without twisting the line during assembly. Manufactured by Adaptall America, this adapter is suited for hydraulic systems requiring a transition between metric and JIC thread standards.

got a hose end that’s 3/8 JIC, will this adapter mate up to it without twisting everything up?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 15, 2025, 9:22 PM
On the JIC side you get a 9/16-18 UNF female swivel that matches a 3/8 inch JIC line size, so the hose end can be tightened while the swivel lets you clock the assembly without spinning the hose.

Got a metric port on my hydraulic manifold and need to hook up a JIC hose end to it, this the right kind of adapter for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 20, 2025, 12:56 PM
That's the situation this part is built for. One end is an M14 x 1.5 male metric thread, so it'll thread right into a metric port. The other end is a 9/16-18 UNF female JIC swivel, which accepts a standard 3/8" JIC hose or tube assembly. The swivel feature on the JIC side is worth noting too, it lets you orient the hose without putting any twist in the line during assembly, which saves a headache on tight installations.

Just want to make sure, will this connect an M14 metric thread to a 9/16 JIC?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 27, 2025, 9:45 PM
Yes, this adapter is designed to connect an M14 x 1.5 male metric thread to a 9/16-18 UNF female JIC swivel fitting.
