This straight steel union features JIC swivel connections on both ends. One side has a 3/8" JIC fitting with a 9/16 - 18 UNF thread, while the other side features a 1/4" JIC fitting with a 7/16 - 20 UNF thread. The Adaptall Swivel JIC X Swivel JIC Union offers reliable connection between different sized ports.

Wrench flats measure 19mm on the larger side and 14mm on the smaller side. Its overall length is 41mm.

got a 3/8 JIC line on one end and a 1/4 JIC on the other -- will this union connect the two without needing extra fittings in between?

That's exactly what it's built for. One end threads onto a 9/16-18 UNF port for the 3/8 JIC side, and the other end handles a 7/16-20 UNF port for the 1/4 JIC side. Both ends swivel, so you've got some wiggle room during installation if the lines aren't perfectly aligned. One union, two different JIC sizes, straight through.
