both ends on this fitting are female JIC swivel, that right? trying to connect two 1-1/2 JIC hose ends inline and want to make sure I got the right part before I order

Correct on both counts. Each end is a female JIC swivel with a 1-7/8-12 UN thread, sized for 1-1/2 inch JIC connections. The swivel feature on both sides means neither hose end has to be torqued into a fixed position during assembly, which makes lining things up a lot easier when you're working in a tight spot.
