Manufactured in steel, this G 1/8 - 28 male BSPP plug is designed to seal unused ports in hydraulic manifolds, valve blocks, and related assemblies. The countersunk design allows the plug to seat flush or recessed within a port face, which is useful where protruding fittings would create clearance issues or obstruct mating components.

got a manifold block with some 1/8 BSPP ports I ain't using right now, will this plug seal those off proper?

For unused 1/8" BSPP ports, this is exactly what you'd reach for. The male G 1/8-28 thread seats directly into standard BSPP ported manifolds and valve blocks, sealing off any ports you're not running lines to. Steel construction holds up well in general industrial hydraulic service, so it's not going to give you trouble sitting in a port long term.
