Manufactured in steel, this G 1/4 BSPP male countersunk sealed plug is designed to close off unused ports in hydraulic circuits and fluid power assemblies. The countersunk head profile allows the plug to sit flush or recessed within a port face, making it suited for installations where clearance is limited or a low-profile termination is required.
The Adaptall BSPP Countersunk Sealed Plug measures 17.1mm in length with a 19mm cross-width, offering a compact form factor for tight-space applications. The G 1/4 thread size is commonly used across a range of hydraulic valves, manifolds, and component bodies where BSPP-threaded ports are standard.

Got a manifold block with a quarter-inch BSPP port I need to cap off. This plug gonna sit flush with the face or is it gonna stick out past it?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 3, 2026, 7:22 AM
That countersunk head profile is exactly what keeps it from protruding. It's built to sit flush or even recessed into the port face, so you won't have anything sticking up past the surface. Real handy when clearance around that port is tight or when another component needs to mount close by.

How deep does this plug sit when it's screwed in? I'm workin' with limited space here.
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 12, 2025, 6:08 AM
The overall length is 17.1mm, so that's how far it'll extend into the port when fully seated. Keep in mind the countersunk head will sit flush or slightly recessed, giving you a lower profile than a standard plug.

got a G 1/4 bspP port on a manifold i need to cap off, is this the right kind of plug?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 1, 2025, 6:19 AM
For a BSPP threaded port, this plug matches a G 1/4 male thread and is made to close off unused ports in hydraulic circuits, valves, and manifolds that use BSPP ports.
