Question by: Diane E on Jul 1, 2025, 2:57 PM
Got a port that needs sealing on a hydraulic manifold and space is real tight around it. Will this plug sit flush enough to not interfere with anything nearby?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 2, 2025, 4:48 PM
Flush seating is exactly what the countersunk design handles. The plug sits down into the port rather than protruding above the surface, so clearance issues around the port face are pretty much a non-issue. At 10.2mm in length and 17mm across the flats, it keeps a low profile while still giving you enough hex to get a wrench on it without a fight.

i need a plug that’ll sit down flush and not stick out, is this one countersunk?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 6, 2025, 8:56 AM
With the countersunk head, it’s made to sit flush with the surface when installed, so you are not left with a plug sticking up and catching on things.

Will this here plug hold up alright in a hydraulic system that sees a good bit of pressure?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 7, 2025, 8:35 PM
Constructed from robust steel, this plug is certainly durable enough to withstand the demands of high-pressure hydraulic environments. Adaptall designed it for reliability.
