Male Bspp X Female Npt

Description & Features

A straight steel adapter connecting a male G 1/2 - 14 BSPP thread on one end to a female 1/2 - 14 NPTF thread on the other, the Male BSPP X Female NPT fitting is designed for joining hydraulic lines where British and North American thread standards meet. The straight configuration keeps the connection compact and inline, with an overall length of 40.8mm and a 27mm wrench width for straightforward installation and removal.

Manufactured from steel, this Adaptall adapter is suited for hydraulic systems requiring a reliable thread-form transition between BSPP and NPT connections at the 1/2" size. The male BSPP side conforms to the parallel thread profile standard, while the female NPT side accommodates the tapered thread form common in North American hydraulic and fluid power equipment.

Got a piece of equipment running 1/2" NPT female ports and need to tie into a BSPP line coming off a hydraulic component. This adapter gonna work for that hookup?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 23, 2025, 7:57 PM
Straight swap, yeah. The 9035-08-08 puts a male G 1/2-14 BSPP thread on one end and a female 1/2-14 NPTF on the other, so it bridges exactly that kind of mismatch. The BSPP side is parallel thread, the NPT side is tapered, and the two ends are sized at 1/2" across the board. Steel construction, inline straight configuration, nothing fancy but built for this exact job.
