Male Bspp X Female Npt

Description & Features

Constructed from steel in a straight configuration, this adapter bridges a 3/4" male BSPP thread (G 3/4-14) on one end to a 1/4" female NPT thread (1/4-18 NPTF) on the other. The size transition, from 3/4" to 1/4", makes it well suited for connecting hydraulic lines or components where BSPP and NPT thread standards meet and a reduction in port size is required.

The Male BSPP X Female NPT adapter is an Adaptall product, measuring 28.8mm in length with a 32mm ch width. Steel construction supports use in demanding hydraulic circuit environments where thread compatibility between British and North American standards is needed.

trying to tie into a port that’s G 3/4-14 on one side, will this adapter get me over to a 1/4-18 NPTF female?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jun 13, 2025, 6:07 AM
Built for that exact thread change, it has a 3/4 inch male BSPP end (G 3/4-14) and a 1/4 inch female NPT end (1/4-18 NPTF), in a straight steel adapter.

Got a BSPP port on a hydraulic component and need to tie into a 1/4" NPT line. This adapter work for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 9, 2026, 7:39 AM
That's exactly the situation this piece is built for. One end is a 3/4" male BSPP thread (G 3/4-14) and the other is a 1/4" female NPT (1/4-18 NPTF), so you'd be threading the BSPP end into your component and running your NPT line into the female end. Steel construction holds up fine in hydraulic circuit use. Just keep in mind you're stepping down from 3/4" to 1/4", so make sure that reduction works with your flow requirements before you button everything up.
Question by: Duane P on Jul 25, 2025, 10:22 AM
Will this adapter handle hydraulic pressures without leaking, or is it more for lower-pressure applications?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 27, 2025, 6:23 AM
Constructed from steel, this adapter is well-suited for demanding hydraulic circuit environments where you need to connect British and North American thread standards.
