Got a 2" NPT line coming off a hydraulic pump and need to tie into some British-spec equipment with a BSPP port. This fitting gonna work for that?

That's exactly the use case this fitting covers. One end is a 2" male NPT (2-11.5 NPTF thread spec) and the other is a 2" fixed female BSPP (G 2-11), so it bridges those two thread standards in a single straight steel adapter. No reducers or extra pieces needed for that size pairing.

trying to hook a 2 inch npt male line into a 2 inch bspp female port, is this the right straight adapter?

For that exact combo, yes. Side 1 is a 2 inch male NPTF thread (2 - 11.5) and side 2 is a fixed 2 inch female BSPP thread (G 2 - 11), and it is a straight steel Adaptall fitting.

Will this fitting hold up alright if I'm usin' it for somethin' like hydraulic fluid?
