Question by: Tony Y on Apr 4, 2026, 1:10 PM
got a steel bushing with G 1/2 - 14 on both ends, is this one male on one side and female on the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 6, 2026, 12:30 PM
On this extended bushing, Side 1 is G 1/2 - 14 BSPP male and Side 2 is G 1/2 - 14 BSPP female, both in 1/2 inch size.
Question by: Harold P on Apr 28, 2025, 6:57 PM
If both sides are the same size, what would I use this for? Seems kinda redundant.
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 30, 2025, 2:19 PM
This extended bushing allows you to connect two BSPP fittings of the same size (1/2") while adding extra length, which can be useful in tight spaces or for specific alignment needs in your hydraulic system.
Question by: Warren H on Mar 13, 2026, 2:57 PM
What size connections does this bushing have on both ends, and are they the same thread type all the way through?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 15, 2026, 6:54 AM
Both ends run G 1/2 - 14 BSPP. One side is male, the other is female, and the thread spec is identical across both connections. So you're working with a straight-through BSPP configuration at 1/2 inch on each end, which makes it useful for extending or joining fittings in a BSPP line without changing thread type or size.
