Female Bspp X Female Npt

Description & Features

A straight steel adapter connecting a G 1/2 - 14 female BSPP port to a 1/2 - 14 NPTF female NPT port, this Female BSPP X Female NPT fitting is suited for hydraulic systems where British and North American thread standards must be joined in a single inline connection. Both sides share a 1/2" nominal size, making it a direct thread-form conversion without a change in line diameter.

Manufactured by Adaptall, the fitting measures 42.6mm in overall length with a 28.5mm wrench width across flats. The steel construction provides the durability expected in hydraulic circuit assemblies and industrial fluid power applications.

Question by: Dean P on May 25, 2025, 8:24 PM
Got a machine running G 1/2 - 14 BSPP on one end and need to tie into a 1/2 NPT female port on the other, will this adapter handle that inline without me having to change out any fittings on either side?
Answer by: Customer Support on May 27, 2025, 8:55 AM
Both ports on this fitting are female, so it bridges a G 1/2 - 14 BSPP connection directly to a 1/2 - 14 NPTF port in a straight inline run. Neither side steps up or down in nominal size, so you're not introducing a diameter change into the line. Steel construction holds up well in standard hydraulic circuit assemblies. As long as your existing ports match those thread callouts, you can drop this in without modifying either side.
Question by: Eddie G on Mar 11, 2026, 3:50 PM
Can this here fitting handle hydraulic pressures without leaking at the threads? I just want to make sure it's up to snuff.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 13, 2026, 6:38 AM
This Adaptall adapter is constructed from steel, which provides the necessary durability for hydraulic circuit assemblies and industrial fluid power applications. It's designed to create a reliable connection between BSPP and NPTF threads.
