Constructed from steel, this 45° elbow fitting connects two G 5/8-14 BSPP threaded ports in a male-to-female configuration, allowing directional changes in hydraulic line routing where straight connections are not practical. Both ends share a 5/8" thread size, making this a same-size fitting suited for symmetrical circuit layouts.
The 45* Tube Elbow M.BSPP X F.BSPP is an Adaptall product, with a wrench-flat width of 30mm on each side and an overall length of 35mm per side, a compact form factor well suited to installations with limited clearance. The 45° angle provides a moderate change in flow direction, offering a middle-ground solution between straight and 90° fittings in tight hydraulic assemblies.

got a spot in a hydraulic line where a straight fitting just ain't gonna cut it but a full 90 would be too sharp a turn, would this 45 degree elbow work for something like that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Feb 3, 2026, 8:32 AM
That's exactly the kind of situation this fitting is built for. The 45 degree angle gives you a moderate direction change, so it sits right between a straight connection and a full 90 degree elbow. If your routing needs a gradual redirect without cramping the line or forcing a hard corner, this one handles that well. Both ends are G 5/8-14 BSPP, with the male side connecting in and the female side connecting out, so it keeps the same thread size straight through. The steel construction holds up in typical hydraulic assemblies, and at 35mm per side with 30mm wrench flats, it fits into tighter spaces where a bulkier fitting would cause problems.
