Got a line running metric fittings on one end and JIC on the other, will this adapter bridge that gap without needing anything extra in between?

got a hose end that’s 1-5/16 - 12 UN JIC male, will this elbow screw onto it and turn it over to BSPP?

With this adapter, the JIC side is male at 1-5/16 - 12 UN and the BSPP side is female at G 1 - 11. So it is meant to mate to a female JIC port on one end, and accept a male BSPP fitting on the other, while giving you a 90 degree turn.
