45* Mjic X Mbspp Adj. Elbow

Description & Features

Designed for directional changes in hydraulic line connections, this steel 45° elbow from Adaptall transitions between a 3/8" male JIC fitting (9/16-18 UNF) and a 1/4" male BSPP fitting (G 1/4-19). The adjustable elbow configuration allows rotational positioning during installation, making it well suited for tight routing situations where fixed-angle fittings would be impractical.

The 45* Mjic X Mbspp Adj. Elbow is constructed from steel and carries an L1 length of 20.5mm and L2 length of 28.5mm, with wrench flat widths of 14mm and 19mm on each respective end. This cross-standard fitting bridges JIC and BSPP connection types, commonly required in hydraulic assemblies that combine components built to different thread standards.

Got a machine that runs JIC on one end and BSPP on the other, will this elbow tie those two together?
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 3, 2026, 12:50 PM
That's what it's built for. One end is a 3/8" male JIC with a 9/16-18 UNF thread, and the other is a 1/4" male BSPP running G 1/4-19. If your assembly is mixing those two thread standards, this fitting bridges them at a 45-degree angle without any adapters in between.

trying to hook a 3/8 jic hose end to a port that’s g 1/4, is this the right elbow for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Jan 28, 2026, 8:33 AM
For that kind of mix-and-match, it’s a 45 degree adjustable steel elbow with a 3/8 inch male JIC end (9/16-18 UNF) on one side and a 1/4 inch male BSPP end (G 1/4-19) on the other, so it’s meant to bridge those two thread standards.
