Constructed from steel, this 45° adjustable elbow connects a 1-inch Male JIC fitting (1-5/16–12 UN thread) on one end to a 1-inch Male BSPP fitting (G 1–11 thread) on the other, making it a practical solution for joining JIC and BSPP hydraulic lines at a 45-degree angle where routing space is constrained.
The 45° Mjic x Mbspp Adj. Elbow is an Adaptall product, featuring an adjustable configuration that allows the elbow orientation to be set during installation. With a Ch1 wrench width of 33mm and Ch2 of 41mm, and overall lengths of 35mm (L1) and 47mm (L2), this fitting is well-suited for compact hydraulic assemblies requiring a reliable cross-standard connection between JIC and BSPP ports.

Got a hydraulic line coming off a British-made power unit with a BSPP port and I need to tie into a JIC system on the other end, this elbow gonna work for that?
Answer by: Customer Support on Sep 21, 2025, 6:47 AM
That's the situation this fitting handles. One end is a 1-inch Male JIC with a 1-5/16–12 UN thread, and the other is a 1-inch Male BSPP running a G 1–11 thread. The 45-degree angle helps when you're working in a tight spot and can't run a straight adapter. Being adjustable, you can clock the elbow to whatever position works best before you torque it down, so routing the line isn't a fight.

What size wrenches do I need to tighten this elbow down?
Answer by: Customer Support on Aug 1, 2025, 9:21 PM
You'll need a 33mm wrench for the Ch1 side and a 41mm wrench for the Ch2 side.

trying to tie a 1 inch JIC hose end into a 1 inch BSPP port, is this the elbow that bridges those two
Answer by: Customer Support on Jul 13, 2025, 6:36 AM
For that kind of cross-over, it matches a 1 inch Male JIC on one side with 1-5/16 - 12 UN threads, and a 1 inch Male BSPP on the other side with G 1 - 11 threads. It is built to join JIC and BSPP connections at a 45 degree angle.
