trying to swap an elbow on a line, is this one JIC male 5/8 on one side and BSPP male 1/2 on the other?
Answer by: Customer Support on Apr 17, 2025, 6:36 PM
On the JIC side you get a male 7/8-14 UNF callout, listed as size 5/8 inch. The other end is a BSPP male with a G 1/2-14 callout, listed as size 1/2 inch.

Got a machine running British-threaded fittings on one end and JIC on the other, does this elbow cross that gap, or am I still gonna need an adapter in between?
Answer by: Customer Support on Dec 23, 2025, 6:02 AM
That's exactly what this fitting handles. One side is a 7/8-14 UNF JIC male thread, which is your standard 37-degree flare connection, and the other side is a G 1/2-14 BSPP male thread, which is the parallel British standard port thread. So yeah, it bridges those two thread standards directly in one piece, no additional adapter needed between them.
