Got a line running 1-1/4" JIC on one end and need to tie into a 1" BSPP port at a 90 degree angle. This the right fitting for that?

That setup matches exactly what this elbow is built for. Side one is a 1-5/8-12 UN male JIC connection, which corresponds to a 1-1/4" JIC line. Side two is a G 1-11 male BSPP, which fits a 1" BSPP port.
