This steel 90° elbow fitting features a 1/2" JIC male end to a 3/8" BSpt male end. The JIC side has a 3/4 - 16 UNF thread callout, while the BSpt side has a R 3/8 - 19 thread callout.

trying to swap a hose end over, is this elbow the one that goes from 1/2 JIC male to 3/8 BSPT male?

It is a 90 degree steel elbow with a 1/2 inch JIC male on one side and a 3/8 inch BSPT male on the other. The thread callouts are 3/4 - 16 UNF on the JIC end and R 3/8 - 19 on the BSPT end.
